Hepsia's File Manager section permits you to handle your website content with simple point 'n' click movements. Right-click shortcut menus allow rapid access to different file management options, whereas handy drag-and-drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your PC in an instant. You will also find in-built file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to archive and unarchive files easily too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your PC. The integrated drag & drop functionality will enable you to effortlessly move files between your PC and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you want to upload from your computer and then drag it to your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop computer. Also, you can download files and even folders to your desktop by clicking the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a new file or folder with just a single click. All action buttons are handily positioned above the file/folder list and you can modify your files easily. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, view the contents of a file or change its permissions, erase a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to zip and unpack all types of files. It does work surprisingly fast - just select the files you wish to pack and click the Compress button. You can even select the compression format (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager, you actually do not need any third-party pieces of software to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which permits you to explore the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will actually appear on your web site. Furthermore, you will find a set of integrated file editors, which will grant you absolute authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more proficient users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
